Need better/more bakery items. It gets boring for the people who live in chino.
Chino Valley could really use more grocery stores for competition like Sprouts, Walmart, Costco. Today I walked away from the checkout to return a cauliflower I thought was $1.79 but was really $5 ! Kinda high like a lot of their other products. The $1.79 was per lbs not each. That's another trick stores like Safeway use to deceive you. I really cringe when I shop there. I feel I'm being raped.
For the most part the employees are super friendly. We've had problems with a few but kept it quiet. One thing we do notice is all the employees kinda walk around like they're walking on eggshells. Not a bad thing, but not a.good thing either. The older employees definitely seem to care about there jobs more than the younger employees. There's a few teenage girls who are always clowning around. One even through a for because it was her time to go on break and the cashier needed her to stay and help bag. It's your job to stay until you are no longer needed. Don't cry about it.
Internet never works in the seating area next to Starbucks also the electrical outlets in the seating area have cover plates that prevent you from charging your devices. Prices are excessively high because they don't have any competition. Their prices are many times higher then health food stores like Sprouts and Trader Joe's, but they don't really carry much that's healthy mostly processed foods. Hey but the store itself is nice and most of the people there are friendly.
Checking out is way to slow, considering other grocery stores. Their tortilla chips made at the store are the best.
Waited almost 20 minutes at deli couldn't get anyone to wait on me ,not the first time it's happened but won't bother with getting deli there anymore . While employees stood in back area chatting away I guess they really don't like there job but hurting business. I seen s girl by the subs area & made comment to her she works deli instead of offering g to help she shrugged her shoulders .I reported to manager he was nice & offered to get what I needed but I was already on my way out of the store by then I found I'll even bother to buy deli there anymore & a shame to because I was a loyal customer who spent at least $300 dollars a week there they need to fire everyone working deli today & hire people who care about there job because they sure don't care .I can't give them 5 stars no more lucky for two
Never enough cashiers it baggers during the busy times, it's the only market in town. They have been discontinuing items that I liked being able to get there which sucks because now I have to go into Prescott to find this stuff. Baggers really need to pay attention to how they bag food, you don't mix meat with Dairy or vegetables. Plus the prices are higher since there the only market in town. Hopefully we'll get another market and this will get them to lower prices and step up a bit
